Hans was one of three winter projects for 2013. He only got an exterior paint job at this time.
Hans had very little rust and still had original paint on his roof and deck lid. However, his driver side was hit at one time with both fenders being replaced and a major dent in the rear quarter panel.
Hans is also a rare 68 with an IRS rear suspension. The reason being he was originally an Auto Stick.
Update: Sat Aug 3, 2013 Jim brought Hans to our local VW show and received first in the 68 and newer Beetle Class
